AUSTRALIA: Demostrating the IBIS Magic GS-700 (West-East by Magic)

Australia – Pacific Ibis covered many miles and demonstrated the aircraft to many people. The Ibis was very well received through out.

Australia – Pacific Ibis with the IBIS Magic GS-700 (Ultralight Aircraft) had a number of well respected people fly it with very positive comments.

In next months Busselton Aero Club news letter there will be a report on the Ibis’s performance written by their CFI.

Russell (Pacific Ibis Representative) was extremely impressed with his capabilities and testing techniques. He was actually a retired test pilot, and had worked in this capacity for many years and for a number of different aircraft manufactures.

During the trip, they had a little fun mustering camels on the Nullarbor and were quite an attraction filling up with fuel from the petrol station browsers. They experienced many rough out back landing strips, and came upon a broken down army helicopter at an outback facility at Forrest SA.

The army personnel we quite interest in the Ibis and took light of our comment that at least ours was flying.

The Spanish magazine of light sport aviation , has published a report of our dealer in Portugal, Mr. Tom Leite owner of the Eurosport Aircraft, and of our IBIS Magic GS-700LV, ULM aircraft version for Europe, it has done in the Braga Airport, with 950mt of airfield with a nice installations.
There realize several flights test to our aircraft and they give us excellent commentaries about the description of the IBIS Magic GS-700 ULM, it has excellent performance

IBIS AIRCRAFT S.A. allowed to inform our customer that our airplane 4 seats IBIS Grand Magic GS-750, next to fly international skies, will the power plant known Lycoming IO-390-X210 HP at 2,700 RPM.
Lycoming IO-390-X series engines are 390 cubic inch, fuel-injected, 4-cylinder direct drive engines that produce 210 horsepower at 2,700 RPM.

The IO-390-X is one of Lycoming’s “Specialty” engines, and is designed to meet the power, payload, and speed requirements of the fast-growing kit aircraft segment.

All this power and innovation is offered with the advantage of low fuel consumption, only 11.1 gallons per hour at 65 per cent power.

IBIS Magic GS-700 in SOUTH KOREA

Mr. Jin Park, is our new distributor of Magic Ibis Gs-700 aircraft, South Korea. On 14 May, he left the container with two aircraft, bound for the Port of Pusan, which is scheduled to arrive on June 18, 2010, after a voyage of 34 days by the Pacific Ocean. Mr. Park, also is a distributor of Rotax engines, to Korea.

Pacific Ibis is pleased to announce they have secured Silver Sponsorship for Recreational Aviation Australia’s premier trade exhibition Natfly, being held at Temora New South Wales during the Easter holidays from 2nd to 4th of April 2010.
Temora is one of the major aviation hubs of Australia attracting visitors through out the year to visit one of the world’s greatest Flying museums.
Natfly attracts 1000+ aircraft, 4000+ pilots and a large number of aviation enthusiasts and general public. This year’s location attracted record breaking crowds because of the events new location and support from the local government of the area.
Pacific Ibis was displaying 3 IBIS Magic GS-700 which can were seen on stands 21,35 and 36 and demonstration flights were available for prospective customers.

TALKS WITH SOUTH AFRICA

After fulfilling all requirements of the South African Civil Aviation Authority, CAAS, it finally authorize Mr. Dale De Klerk, representative of the Company Alpi South Africa, the importation of the first two (2) kits IBIS Magic Kit GS-700, for submission to certification testing for the South African territory, which will be undertaken in the first half of 2010.

Following the death of our distributor in Australia, Mr Bert Flood, in the month of January 2009, the IBIS Aircraft SA decided to assign the distribution rights for the territory of Australia, Mr Russell Middleton, for the IBIS Pacific Company, whom he dispatched three (3) first aircraft Magic IBIS GS-700, which were loaded on 8 January to the port of Brisbane.

After some extensive discussions and fulfilled all the requirements demanded by the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel, IAAC, finally we have released 2 aircraft Magic IBIS GS-700 (Ultralight Aircraft), whose container arrived at the Port of Haifa, on 11 December, bound for Fly-Market Company, of the city of Gedera, represented by Mr. Isaac and Ferer Moshe Bachar, who are very satisfied with our product.

From 17 to 31 October, our International Sales Executive, Argemiro Castaneda, visited Europe several of our customers interested in the Distribution of Magic IBIS airplane GS-700 (Ultralight Aircraft) , in countries like Germany, France and Italy, countries with a great interest in our plane as ULM certify initially, and later the Commonwealth version, similar to the LSA version, U.S., maximum weight of operation will be between 560 and 600 Kgs
Both Italy and France, will expect to come out the new rules approved for ALS (560-600 kgs Mtwo), which is scheduled for Spring 2010, to import them into this new version.

December 14 of 2008 – IBIS MAGIC GS-700 in IRAN

In middle of the month of December, the company Aerotech of Iran, bought the first unit IBIS MAGIC GS-700 and then signing the contract as exclusive distributor in this country of all the airplanes produced by the company.
